Reading to my Friend.

At the beginning of the year it was hard to read books and poems.  Now it is easy for me and I can read to my friends and my family and to my teacher.  Next I would like to read about birds.

Science Van Visit.

On Friday the 9th of November, the Science Van came to Elm Park School.  Jed was chosen from the audience to help the science man do a very cool experiment.  He made a bubble with carbon dioxide inside.  Jed was very good at following the instructions!!

Kelly Sports.

We are learning to throw and catch and play games, on Tuesday mornings at Kelly Sports, with Coach Cameron.

Who Am I?

We had to tell about ourselves.  I had to think about me and what I look like.  Then write down the words and they are the clues.  We put them into a book so that other people can read them.  They have to think about what person it might be.  It is mystery to solve!!

Telling the Time.

At Maths time I was learning to tell the time on a clock or a watch or a phone or on the ipad.   On this clock here, the big hand is on the 12, and the little hand is on the 3.  This means it is 3 o'clock.  If I change the little hand and it points to 4, then it would be 4 o'clock.  If I change the big hand to the 6, it would be half past 4.  At first it was tricky to learn the time, but now it's easy.

Reading Eggs.

I do Reading eggs at school and at home on the ipad.  I had to get the words and the right picture.  I got two wrong - that's why the stars turned red.  It is a little bit tricky but I keep trying.  Next I would like to do Reading eggs eggspress because that looks cool.
